When we met Solo Performance for the first time, they had two documents with them. First document was a list of problems in their website; and the other was a list of features their website needed. They wanted to make sure that their new website will live up to the quality of their exhaust products.
At one glance, we immediately understood their frustration. The entire website was built on Flash in a 600x400 pixels window and there was no CMS either. This made it very difficult to manage products and track e-commerce properly.
One of the biggest challenges for this project was content organization. Due to the nature of Solo Performance's business, there were dozens of categories and classifications for every product.
As a result, we categorized every product based on vehicle and product type. We also implemented sub-navigation menus throughout the website to improve readability.
In accordance to the provisions of the project, the Solo Performance website was developed on the WordPress CMS with several CMS extensions. Among many, some of our programming work include custom gallery system, testimonial reel, e-commerce system and a dealer log-in system.
