Solo Performance first came to BDQWorks with a long list of problems and requirements. They wanted to make sure that their new website will live up to the quality of their exhaust products.
After reviewing the project requirements, BDQWorks created a feature rich e-commerce website and provided internet marketing campaigns once the website was finished.
The main problem with the old Solo Performance website was the fact that it was built inside a 600x400 pixel window using Flash. This made it very difficult to shop, manage products and track sales.
To avoid the same mistake, we put content and layout (user experience) at the top of the priority list. Due to the nature of Solo Performance's business, there were dozens of categories and classifications for every product; and we wanted to simplify them as much as possible.
We did this by categorizing every product based on vehicle and product type. We also implemented sub-navigation menus throughout the website.
In accordance to the provisions of the project, the Solo Performance website was developed on the WordPress CMS with several CMS extensions. Among many, some of our programming work includes a custom gallery system, testimonial reel, e-commerce and a dealer log-in system.
